Description

My boyfriend’s sister recently had twins and I decided to make her a couple of nursing covers. I didn’t pick baby fabric because I didn’t want it to scream BABY! Since the fabric I chose wasn’t very thick and not a dark color/pattern, I decided to back it with white muslin. Let me tell you, next time I will just pick something not see through because that would’ve cut down on the construction time, although I think it turned out nicely. Used contrasting stitching and includes boning. Adapted some tutorials linked below.

It looks great and I love that you chose a fabric that wasn’t baby-ish. The mom needs to like it too. I would have loved to have one of these when my boys were babies but I will definitely make one down the road when we have more kids. Thanks for the links and congrats on the newest additions to the family.
