We have been blessed with our new granddaughter, who arrived May 30th at 255am, weighing 8 pounds, 3 ounces. She is healthy, and doing great. New Parents are doing terrific!
We were so lucky to be able to be over on the mainland before, during, and after her birth.
The colourful wrap is Simplicity 4202; a lot of work, and too big for a newborn. It would be great made out of a terry cloth, and used for after bath time when the baby is several months old. I have a second one cut out, I’m sure it will come to some use in the future, for cuddles and snuggling.
The pink wrap is Simplicity 2165, very simple to make. However, I choose to invert as the other wrap instructed, for a nice smooth finish for baby. Also, too big for a newborn.
Some nice big receiving blankets out of cotton flannel; I remember that blankets were always useful.
Matching PJ’s for Dad and Mom.
Some little crocheted projects; patterns were all free on the internet.
We are extremely proud of the kids. :-)
After being away ten days, there were a lot of projects to view that everyone has been creating!! Great sewing everyone!
Cotton Flannel, pre-washed twice. Washable/dryable yarn.
It's time to enter for our grand prize, an EX100 machine PLUS a trip to Nashville!
