Awww….too bad about the bag accessories supplier. I’m originally from Penang – born and bred – orang Cina, now married to a Phil-American. My one and only anak is already a teen and I’m a stay-home mom, so….lots of time to indulge in my passion – sewing! Thanks for adding me as friend. How do you find time to care for your young, sew, take care of family and then even sell your items! You’re amazing!

Hi again, thanks for responding – I’ve been checking daily to see if there’s any reply from you. I may be in the US but am on an island, the size of Singapore. Fabric and sewing supplies are very very limited. I enjoy making bags but cannot find a decent place to get bag supplies like handles, buckles etc etc. Do you know if the store that you get your stuff from ship overseas? Or do they have an online store? Appreciate any help. Terima kasih!

Hi…mine was from local store. But most of crafters around here bought their supplies from online shop/wholesale, mostly from China. I think there are a lot of shops from Us/China/Taiwan sells all those accessories needed such as in etsy.com.
I don’t buy from online shop (though I’m dying to :)) because I don’t know the quality of the materials :)

I just visited your site and was thrilled to find another Malaysian avid sewer and “bag lady”! I’m also from Malaysia but residing in a US Territory now. I love making bags as well. I love all the beautiful fabrics you used for your bags – where do you get them? I need to visit that store the next time I visit Malaysia.

Hi, wow, envy you staying in US while I can only dream to ever put my foot there :D
Well, my fabrics are from local store in Damansara, it calls COTTONZONE. Really nice fabrics there and not to mention kind of expensive for me…

Usually, I only took about 2 days (I sew only when my baby asleep which only 1-2 hours per sesion. If I can sew sew non stop, will probably take about a day.
