Finally, it’s somewhat chilly here in Caracas! Yaaaay. This is probably the awesomest sweater I have ever worn.
I have had this big, BIG, jearsey thing laying around for too long in my closet. A couple of years ago I made it a little smaller so it could fit me, and I used it as a dress a couple of times, but it was really terrible trying to use it as everyday wear because this city NEVER GETS COLD. So, it was time to make some re-refashions over here.
I made a cut in the middle to make it a sweater and then glued the felt patches to the elbows. And ta-da! Seriously, the fabric glue is probably the best invention ever. I should probably hand-sew them too for a cleaner look, but for now I love it as it is.
And it’s perfect for snuggling in my bed with a cup of tea in this rainy “winter”.
Jersey, brown felt.
