I made mine up in polar fleece. The patten was fine all the pieces there, just one is marked with the wrong name. The long skinny piece is actually for the booties not the hat. The instructions were not clear. They came together well in the end. I added some elstic to the tops of the booties ast they seemed very big in the cuff. With the hat: I sewed the 2 halves of the crown together along the curve. Sewed the end of the band together then folded it length wise enclosing the seam. Then matching the placement marks I sewed the brim to the crown. So the brim is a double thickness. With the Booties: Sew the long thin piece (side wall of the bootie) with short ends together. Then sew this to the sole piece, putting the seam of the side wall piece to the center of the back. Then attach the upper to the side wall at the center front. The cuff is sewn together at the short ends, then folded over. Match the seam to the side wall seam and sew the cuff to the side wall and across the upper. I found the cuff too big so cut a slit into it and threaded some 6mm elastic through. Being polar fleece It’s not going to fray :) I really liked the way the pieces went together. And the finished result is very cute. The instructions are very brief and hard to follow.
