A baby grab ball which I will be giving to a friend’s baby for Christmas. It’s made from 12 sections each made of 3 leaf-shaped pieces. It is my first project like this and was surprisingly easy. I used dental floss to stitch it together as it is stronger than regular thread.
3x FQ cotton,
bag Hobbyfill,
dental floss

I used the machine to stitch each ‘football’ shape and then stitched the segments together by hand using dental floss for strength.

This is so lovely :). It would be a perfect gift for my friend’s baby boy. BTW, did you sew it by hand?

Huh… wha…?… my brain just folded itself in half, then divided itself in two, trying to figure out how on earth you made this. So thanks for the link! The baby that gets this is going to end up a genius :o)
