Description

I created this during the summer, but forgot about it and when I decided to give it to a friend for xmas I decided to document its cuteness! The material is another mystery fabric, probably cotton, and was perfect due to the stiff feel it has. That makes it perfect for this pattern since you will be crinkling the pleats when sitting down alot. Also I used a centered zipper…..dont really know what I was thinking then…..but it didnt turn out too bad only because its the same shade of blue.
Also I added lace trims to create visual contrast, and continue with the strong lines of the pleats(my fav part).

Thanks! Hopefully soon I will be able to get new machine feet for zippers and they will be flawless, yet I am finding out they are alot more than I am willing to pay for a tiny piece of metal…

the white stripes work really great with the baby blue and structured look of the skirt. Looks great with the white top. I always have a hard time with zippers!!
