This was made from an old mens business shirt I got from a second-hand store. Original buttons were replaced by vintage ones.

Thanks so much everyone for the wonderful comments!!
I don’t have a how-to, but it’s pretty straight-forward… It’s an elastic band that sits just above the bust, and you can make the straps anyway you like. Just make sure it’s an oversized men’s shirt… the more room the better, it gives the top more movement.
The buttons are purely decorative… I couldn’t get the buttons I wanted to fit through the original button holes!
I really love this top too, I’m still trying to decide whether to keep it for myself, or post it up for sale on my Etsy store… hmm….

i love this, you did an amazing job! i was also wondering if the buttons are what you use to put it on or if they’re just decorative? xo

This is so cute! A how-to would be much appreciated! Are the buttons ‘real’ or just decorative?
