Baby Accessories (Burp Cloth)

Reversible baby burp cloth.

When my kids were babies, all I had were cloth diapers to use if they spit-up. There’s no look quite like wearing a less-than-fashionable diaper across one shoulder. Then, a few years ago, it became stylish to be a new mom and thankfully fashion intervened saving us from the dank and dreary.

There are several ways to create these little cloths, including accessorizing the cloth diaper version by adding cute material to each end; however, I wanted to try something a little different, which fit better on the shoulder (larger ones tend to fall off the shoulder) and of course the little number needs to be cute to hide its true purpose.

For inspiration, I followed an online tutorial via Prudent Baby.

Material Notes

I used flannel material on one side and cotton material on the other side. As far as best material type, your options are pretty open. Browse the web and get ideas.

Garment Type
Cotton, Flannel
