With a niece’s baby shower coming up, the invitation said to bring a book instead of a card and sign it for everlasting memories. I’ve been working on designing and making a series of recycled denim accessories and hostess aprons and figured… Why couldn’t I make a cloth book out of denim? So here it is…
Each page has an inner lining of plastic (little ones like the crinkling sound) and fiberfill to give it shape. The pages were then sewn together and finished with a handle to tote around, with a velcro enclosure.
The pages were designed with hand/eye coordination in mind and there’s even a page with a replica of his beagle puppy that squeaks when you push his tummy. As you can see, the possibilities are endless!!
