This is a corduroy dress for my 2-year old. All materials are remnants from other projects, which explain why the dress is less flared than the pattern called for: I just did not have enough corduroy fabric left. The pattern called for a matrishka applique (hence the name babushka, I guess) but I substituted for a cage and bird free-hand embroidery. I kinda like the final result.
