Description

When I saw the model 114 on Burdastyle Jan 2012 issue I decided to made the dress for myself.
However, since I would like to wear it at the office, I decided to use a plain fabric, in light delavè blue (= AZZURRO), rather than sequined fabric (model 114A) or metallic grey satin (model 114B).
When I made the muslin, I understood that Burda size does not fit my upper part, and I had to alter the bodice by adding an extra dart.
The project is far from being perfect, but this is the first dress I made and I’m quite pleased with myself.
(The awful mark on my right elbow is courtesy of the nurse who took a blood sample last Wednesday)

Material Notes
