My third casual maxi to date. I have never owned a maxi dress before simply because I know for a fact that all maxis off the rack would be way too long for me and I wouldn’t want to pay too much for a dress that I would end up cutting and altering.
Anyway, the top part is based on Lydia and the skirt is just a self-drafted A-line skirt. I got to use just one meter of this aztec print knit that I got for only $2/m… Great buy!!!
Material-wise, this maxi only costs $3 (also got the black knit for $2/m and I’ve only used 1/2 for this project)… Now, I got a maxi dress that fits me to the T and costs me less than $5 (ok, if I’ll add in effort and time maybe at most $10). Now that’s what I call a worthy maxi.
1 m Aztec print knit, 1/2 m black dry knit
