Description

Original pattern from Azalea, but I’ve skipped the upper front and back (because I don’t have enough and matching fabrics…urggg!). And still thinking whether I should add the belt detail…what do you think? I shorten it a bit so that I can wear it with my favourite jeans and jacket (Am not ready to wear it as a dress :p ) And also make it a bit more A-shape. But overall…Yay!

Material Notes

Batik sarong fabric and navy blue lightweight cotton…There goes my last and final batik sarong….thinking of using my husband pelekat (men’s version of batik sarong…:))

Super cute, and definitely no belt. It flatters your figure nicely as it is with the A shape.

Love the fabric! Love the style. Would make it just a little longer, and wear the jacket without the jeans (just my preference). All-in-all, very nice!

I like your version of the Azalea as a long top! It fits you perfectly and looks great over jeans. As for the belt: no, I wouldn’t add it.

It looks great – I like it without the top layers. I think it would look great as a dress!

Great choice of fabric! And after having made one using the outer part as a tunic, I think I like it with the inner part better.

I think it looks so cool long, no belt. Its really a gorgeous top. I would lose the jacket though. I read you are going into business at Etsy. You should.

Beautiful azalea, I like how you combined the fabrics. I think it would look good with something like a bolero in the right color.

this is a wonderful color / pattern and I really like the versatility. While the tone of the jacket works, the shape of it takes away from the dress. A chunky tie front sweater may work… if all else fails a black leather jacket won’t.

i love the fabric! you look very good.

but i don’t like 100% how does it looks with the jacket , i think is a little too long and loose for your azalea

well that’s my opinion, given with all respect :)

    saludos!
