Azalea dress in flame colors — yellow, red and orange. I made this dress in an evening for a wedding the next day. It was my second Azalea. I made the first to wear to the same wedding, then found this fabric and decided that I liked it better. There was no pressure since I already had another dress to wear. The photo does not capture the colors well. The dress was a big hit. Several people asked me where I got it. The bride even told the photographer to get plenty of pictures of it.
Cotton batiste/voile. The orange has flocked dots.

gorgeous! i have a question though, how many yards of fabric did you use? I downloaded the pattern and I’m a size 30-32 and I bought 2 1/2 yards of fabric without realizing there was a bottom layer to the dress, do you think that will be enough? Please write back on my wall, thanks!

Wow! it’s gorgeous, and so is your other azalea that you made. I’m almost drooling over the orange flocked dots fabric! Makes me want to try this pattern.
