Love this dress but based on the comments about sizing I might try and whip it up without a pattern.
Thoughts: If I trace and replicate the top of a favorite tank top then pleat or gather a rectangle of fabric I think I might be able to replicate the look pretty well…we’ll see!

HI there! I’ve purchased this pattern but cannot find suitable material (i.e. chiffon) – can a stretch knit also work? polycotton? any advice will be greatly appreciated! thanks :)

I made this dress and haven’t posted it yet. I had a major issue with sizing. It was huge on me and I had to take it in multiple times. Did anyone else have this issue? I have also had this problem with another pattern I have bought off here.

Just finished getting my pattern ready – I’m planning to make at least 2 of this dress. One original with a scalloped overlay and one lining only in an orange sherbert print. Can’t wait!

I have been looking at this dress for a while. Wasn’t sure it was for me until I saw a dress in Mark by Avon that was really similar and love the look of. the dress I saw has 3/4 sleeves and the fullness falls just under the bust. How would I adjust the outer dress to do it this way?

I am so happy I looked at the creations, this pattern doesn’t look like much on paper, but it is great realized, I am going to try this after a couple of the other patterns
