Hi!
The collar binding is really easy to do: basically, you measure out the correct length of bias binding tape. You then iron out the top fold of the tape, and then use your iron to make the tape sit in a matching curve to the neckline. You then sew the tape to the right side of the neckline, along the ironed out crease, leaving a 1cm edging. You then trim this edge, then fold your bias tape over onto the wrong side, pressing carefully along the neckline edge to create a nice smooth line, making sure your bias tape can’t be seen from the right side. You then sew along the bottom edge of the bias tape. All done!

Stunning dress!! Did you know that you don’t have to treat this merino fabric like most woollen fabrics?? You can put it in most normal temperature washes, in your case with your coloureds and it will be fine. I agree with you, it is the best fabric to sew.
