I got tired of my old backpack and ended up with a unique book bag. About a 15 min project.
-cut the top off an old skirt
-sew the opening on the bottom in the inside
-hem the top to keep it from fraying
-cut two holes, one on either side at the top (for the handles)
-make handles out of the extra material and attach to bag
-tie a knot on either end of the handle to keep it from slipping out (might want to double knot)
-add holes around the top for tassle
-tie a bow at the front
Jean, lace, rhinestones, tassle
