I’m one month away from graduating with a BFA in fashion design. In our class we spent the first semester making patterns and test garments and one look in final fabric. The second semester we made the rest in final fabric, finished everything off, and had a photo shoot. Here’s the result!
My inspiration for my collection was the architecture of Antoni Gaudi from Spain. His sculptural yet whimsical approach to design influences my decisions of fabric and overall aesthetic.
I used buckram, boning, horsehair, cotton sateen, silk charmeuse, silk taffeta, silk chiffon, and wool gaberdine.

AWESOME! I am a newcomer to the works of Gaudi, but so far I am enchanted! I love his modern interpretation of the gothic style in the cathedral Familia de Sagrades. I love the organic roots he has in his architecture. This is a very nice piece, I can see the inspiration in it.
