Union City, Cali...
I had several issues with the pattern, I think I will stay with patterns that includes seam allowance from now on, because it was hard to keep all the pieces exact, which for a fitted dress is not a good idea.
The fit was too tight around the armholes yet too loose on the neck and back, so I had to modify the pieces after I have sewn them together to get the fit right.
I also upcycled an unused fabric belt and sewn it onto the dress to add color contrast to the dress.
Lastly, I laundered the dress, and all of the dart seams ripped due to slight shrinkage of the fabric. clumsy me. so after several days of moping, my friend encouraged me to fix them. and Voila~
