It’s all Nessy S’s fault. After viewing her delightful Cherry Warm Cape , all I could think was “cape, cape, cape, cape, cape” all day long. Then along came the Sarah pattern and that was it.
For this one I shortened everything, sleeves included, though in reality I probably could have gone down a few sizes. Maybe I’m just not used to this kind of unstructured piece?
Nonetheless, I do want to make another- maybe a couple more- in some kind of warm snuggly material. And perhaps with a collar. Hmm.
Orange and green woven stuff from the market. Probably intended for curtains.

This is my favorite of all the Sarah examples so far. Love the colors and the shape. I’d be curious to know how you hemmed the edges? Simple foldover or something more tailored. It looks really good and hangs very well.

Looks very good, especially with that fabric.
