I used the Coffee Date dress pattern but omitted the ruffles (I’m more of a pleat than a ruffle kinda gal) and added a cute button.

Lovely variation of this dress. The button detail is very clever. Did you find it required a fair bit of fitting? Just wondering because I’m about to make this dress.

Yes I did, but I find all patterns that I use from Burdastyle need to be made smaller. I recommend making a toile first; I made one for another variation of this dress that I haven’t quite finished yet, but once you get the fit right it’s a really comfortable dress to wear.
