my first project! just a simple circle skirt what I learned from my best friend Suzanne. I used ikea fabric (of course). It was a challenge because I used the old sewing machine from my grandma for the firts time.

All IKEA stores should carry a basic range or light cotton and heavier upholstery fabric! There are a few different cottons…I like the Cecilia range best:

This is very nice. I would definitely wear this. I have been looking for some Ikea here in the states but have not found any in South Carolina. I think the closest is ATL.

It’s great, you chose a brilliant fabric. Do ikea in the netherlands have ordinary cotton or is it the upholstery stuff?
