A stretch cotton dress I made for myself 2 years ago. I’m making another at the moment for a friend so thought I had better get it up here too!
It has a under bust corset foundation that I made with a stretch satin so it keeps everthing in place but still moves with the dress…no black body toning knickers for me!!!! (just nice pretty ones lol)
I adapted the pattern, which is simpicity no.3673, slightly by making the back drop quite low….on the new one I’ve made it drop a wee bit more…for now anyway, its only at the rough muslin stage!

Hi…sorry its taking me so long to get back to you…I’ve not been on here a while as my crocheting has completely take over my life! lol
the pattern is simpicity no.3673. I wouls say if your a confident sewer you should be fine….it has all the basics of dressmaking…darts, gather etc….nothing too compliated. If you have a good dress making instruction book (most of the pattern companies do one of some sort) it should be able to guild you through easily enough…..or come to the forum on here….Good luck!!! would love to see the finished dress!
