Aunt Bobi's handbag

Added Mar 22, 2009

by fantzypantz

Goldendale, Wash...

For my special Aunt I made this one in various blacks, it closes by magnetic snap, has cell and creditcard pockets inside as well as a zipped pocket for change on the back. a varity of trims dolls it up as well as the beads that I picked up at Joann. I machine quilted the prints over felt for a little form and interfaced both lining and exterior. It stands on its own this way and if I had followed the pattern specifics I don’t think it would have.

Material Notes

Microsuede, cotton blends and a satin with metalic thread. Grey lace trim as two black edge trims.

McCalls, however I made changes.

Love it – especially the choice of fabrics. I’m sure your Auntie will be thrilled!
