Description

I needed (well… sort of) a new bag, but had little money, so decided to make one myself :) I scaled down the pattern by 25% (I think). The fabric and lining were from an old skirt from a charity shop and the handle/strap things were from another skirt that never fitted. The embellishment was due to my complete lack of understanding when it comes to embroidery, so I just used anything and everything from my stash of ribbons and buttons. I love the result! Its the first thing I’ve made that is actually usable, and have even been asked, much to my surprise, by a few of my friends where I bought it. Always a good thing hehe :)

Material Notes

Velvety stuff (polyester/cotton blend) No idea what the lining was – something a bit shiny? Random bits and bobs for the embellishment.

The decorations make it! I love bags and the jazzier the better!
