I found this fabric at Joann’s months ago and fell in love! Every time I look at it, it makes me so happy!!! My beautiful husband just bought me a new Pfaff 4.0 machine for my birthday and out came the fabric. The dress is entirely my own design which seemed appropriate due to my intense connection to the fabric. The top is created out of two fairly square pieces of fabric and then gathered in the front and pleated (sort of) in the back. I also made the stretch lace cami underneath. Because I hate putting in zippers (they seem to bulge in all the wrong places,) I used the eyelets for lacing. I’m very happy with how it turned out though I wish it laced up a little tighter.
