This is another paint and sew project made easy with a purchased stencil. My daughter-in-law is a big Hepburn fan so I made her this girlie apron. The rhinestone buckle, polka dot ribbon, and organza hem border makes it completely feminine. I washed everything before sewing so that the apron can go in the washer and dryer with no problem. Get the details in credits below by clicking “Audrey”.
Cotton, organza, sheer ribbon, rhinestone buckle

I never researched this but as I was designing the apron and wondering where to put the rhinestone buckle and ribbon, it seemed natural that it would be over her image. I too think I’ve seen pictures like that. Don’t know if it was a headband or a hat but I’m sure that’s what influenced my decision. Thank you for your remarks!

I was wondering how many people would think it was just a trim at the top of the apron. It’s fun that you “got” the headband concept! Thanks for commenting.
