This is my first entry for Made By Rae’s Spring Top Week. I based this top on a style I had seen in Saba. I will add instructions, but basically it is a loop of material with 2 sleeves. I love the versatility of this top, and the photos show a few ways I plan on wearing it.

Hi! Thanks for the great instructions. It was easy and it’s super comfy. I had to shorten mine a bit, even though I’m tall (5’10), all the extra material was a bit bulky on me. Can you show or explain how you did the 2 wrap-around looks? I can’t seem to get mine to do that – must be doing something wrong! Thanks :)

I’ll try explaining…For the belted look, you let the loop hang down in front, then step through. Grab the material on each side of your hips then pull up (so the bottom line of fabric comes up to your back waist) and then cross the two hands across your front. The belt secures the two points and covers the line of fabric at the back.
For the unbelted wrap-around I hand the loop down, make a cross and then put the lower loop over me head. What you can’t see in the photo is the twist in the material, it is underneath the front cross-over. I needed to move this around a bit until the twist was covered.
Oh and make sure you add a photo of yours, I’d love to see :-)

I just checked the length of mine, and its now only 2m, so folded it hangs 1m long. I must have cut the sleeves out of the original length. SORRY, I’m going back now to change the instructions.
Thanks for pointing it out.

No worries! I thought I must have used the wrong material or something! Anyways, I ended up cutting off ~0.5m so mine is 2.5m in length. I’ll try those techniques, and attempt to post a pic this week.
