Description

I used 1/4 inch red gingham for my version of Burdastyle’s Liz #7936. I customized some retro styled designs in my software and embroidered them on the upper front and then a larger version on the back across the top of the shoulders. The buttons are generic white plastic.

It reminds me of bad girls in some of my favorite B movies.

Material Notes

Cotton gigham, 5/8" buttons, interfacing

The embroidery is from Oklahoma Embroidery Supply and Design (embroideryonline.com) and it is Go Retro (pack#12188). I really like that style.

Thanks for the link. I love gingham. ;)

Oh this is just so great! Where did you find the atomic embroidery? If you love gingham check out http://www.flickr.com/groups/1069481@N24/. It is a site that has everything made from gingham and your top would fit perfect here. Nicely done!
