Description

This skirt was made from a vintage curtain panel I salvaged second hand. It’s quite old. Had that not so lovely accumulation of years past smell to it. I’m not sure what the material is. Feels like a barkcloth, but lighter and with a polyester backing. I added some flowers trailing down the side of the skirt, piped the pockets, and made a matching pin to be worn in my hair or as a brooch. The pattern is a modified version of the skirt portion of Vogue 1174.

Oh gosh! Vintage curtain panels are the best! This is positively darling! I adore the added flower embellishments. A perfect wear to a jaunt through a park.
