Asymmetrical wool waistcoat with lapped seams. Double layer wool and double layer silk back. Raw edges, exposed seams, exposed darts. The lapped seams were a bit of a ‘what if?’ …and I think it worked.
Self-drafted pattern. Worn with self-drafted sheer sleeveless cotton shirt and boiled wool shorts.

I take that as a compliment? Thank you.

What can I say? I’m running out of desciptives for how cool your stuff is. The biggest compliment I can give you is that I am slowly building up wardrobe ideas for my son when he gets a bit bigger. He loves your style. Cool, manly and functional. He can’t wait till he’s taller! Also that you draft your own patterns, and design your work. Again, Well Done.

totally your look again and that is what i admire the most: You have YOUR look and i would recognize it on any other person if he / she would wear it. GREAT!

real cool! And what a catwalk presence “Am… too sexy for my shirt, ’s going to kill me”. The song applies to you…and you’ve nearly exterminated your shirt

oh, i love it.. i love doing ‘what if’s should do more of those .. back when i first got into sewing all i ever did was inventing my own sewing rules .. but i sort of lost that while i was getting more familiar with sewing i started doing what’s expected of me to do and lost this truly creative part .. thank you for reminding me of that :) it’s still in me somewhere i just need to look for it

Thanks. I read that some of the best fashion designers don’t know how to sew. They have no preconceived ideas of sewing limitations.

just an authentic outfit for you, however I don’t know you. It underlines your manliness and makes you very attractief. I also like the neckless! Maybe you can combine the waistcoat with a light undergarment for more contrast? Greatings form Rotterdam Martin

Martin, thanks for the kind words. Light undergarment? May have to make one!
