This skirt was selected for Sew Daily’s first ever sew-along. I chose to the do the skirt in fabrics I already had in my collection – a red linen and a yellow cotton stripe. I loved the yellow so much that I ended up adding a ruffle at the bottom.

I really like the asymmetrical concept and it looks very well made. If it were me I would have had the folds come across the widest part of my hip to exaggerate that silhouette.
