an experimental dress i made a few days ago
with an unusual shape
not a particularly successful one
but i guess that’s the part of the process
fabric is rather strange
its a jersey
but has two layers
one white and one in this ‘cappuccino’ color
both layers are single jersey, joined on their wrong sides
so the fabric is double faced
i decided to use cappuccino colored side
and then to cut upper layer a bit shorter
exposing the white layer on hems
i left the edges unfinished
jersey won’t fray, and i liked the way it looked without hemming
btw, i just realized this is my 100th project on burda style!

1m jersey fabric (double layered)
