Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Even thought I am wearing only tunic on this photo, it is too short to be worn by itself, it needs leggings to go with it.
This project is quite old, I had it for ages, even worn it a couple of times, very bold and bright look for a night out.
I am not sure what fabric it is, pretty sure it is 100% polyester, has a very similar feel to georgette, but quite opaque. It was quite difficult to work with it, it frays and shifts very easily, however, for me, the colour combination was totally worth it.
The top part is lined with white chiffon. Also the bottom corner has a white chiffon wedge which is embellished with dyed mother of pearl sequence, gives it a little bit of weight, which helps keep the tunic in place.
