My dress is based on 12/2009 Asymmetric dress from Burda
It is cut on the bias. The strap and chest are draped. I made it in a fine brown and cream printed cotton. It did not pose any particular problem, I followed the directions to the letter. It just takes a little patience because some hand-sewn seams are required for the drape.
