This dress came to gether really well. i decided to use floral fabric and fully line it rather than use lace and underlining.I thought it would look nice to accentuate the diagonal seam so i double stitched black binding down it. I hated it so covered it up with a ruffled piece in the same fabric. I think it looks ok I wore it out last night with my mum. I made her top as well and dos’ nt she look fabulous. mum called up yesterday before we went out with the biggest bag of lace thread binding buttons elastic and a burda pattern, she bought it all of a seller at a car boot sale. bless her heart. I was so thrilled. it was like xmas and my birthday all rolled into one lol x
