I made these bangles for my mom for a Christmas present. They were pretty simple to make, and I got my idea from the burdastyle project: http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/assorted-yarn-bangles. They took about 13 minutes each, but I was trying to make them perfect by going slowly. You can add your own designs because they look cooler and more intricate that way.
I used metal bangles that I found in my jewelry box and they were all different sizes which helped make them more unique. Instead of using metallic wired ribbon I used more yarn to wrap around on top of the base (the yarn on top of the bangle) and I used my hands rather than a needle to wrap it.
