My interpretation of Simplicity 2172. This was created for a steampunk christmas event. It came out much better than I had anticipated and is currently my new favorite!
I had the honor of winning fist place in the adult category of the Simplicity/Hancock fabrics Halloween costume contest with this outfit! http://www.simplicity.com/t-contests-2011-HAS-Halloween-Costume-Contest-Winners.aspx
Upholstery velvet, flannel baked satin(flannel side out), silk, drapery fabric, over 200 beads and other embellishments all sewn on by hand.

Love the hood. Did you draft that pattern yourself?
