For my daughter, Burda 7370, using some sort of synthetic crepe given to me by a friend from her late mother’s stash, estimated to be at least 35 yrs old. Like a dream to sew up, they just don’t make fabric like this any more!
I’ve written a review of this great dance-skirt pattern on my blog here
really old synthetic crepe, with a really cool print of organic aqua blobs. Invisible zip, and lined with lightweight cotton

Really lovely skirt. My Mum had a dress made from that exact same fabric and that definitely was 35 years ago. There was the best fabric shop at Sunnybank Plaza in Brisbane called JD’s where Mum bought that fabric. If I can remember rightly, you will not need to iron the skirt. PS: your daughter looks lovely in her new skirt.
