I was inspired by a 1950’s vogue pattern that had shoulder ties as the dress closure. I put a zipper in anyway, but there was no need because I am able to slip the dress over my head.
This is a variation of my yellow sundress. I used bias tape for the straps and gathered the skirt instead of pleating. I used the embroidery foot on my fancy new brother sewing machine. I’m very pleased with the results
