I wanted to make a demin jumper for my granddaughter and wanted to applique something on it. My daughter and I saw something similar one day while out window shopping and thought “I can make that”, and I did! I am very pleased with the outcome and more so because I FINALLY conquered my fears of making button holes on this one. I took it for a fitting last night and ended up having to cut off another 1 1/2" before I could hem it, she is so petite. Oh and I fully lined it with white cotton fabric. Enjoy and Happy Sewing everyone.
Denim, home dec fabric for appliqued flower and wide lime green ric-rac for stem, self covered buttons, white cotton for lining.
