This is my take on top 105, July issue 2011.
I AM IN LOVE WITH PASTEL COLORS and I also like the apple cotton fabric so I had to mix them in one project! Have bought the pistachio green fabric already in fall last year on sale for 2,50 € / meter.
I wouldn’t consider the pattern to be “easy” (thats how it is categorized in the magazine) – I agree to the download pattern difficulty which shows “intermediate”. Did not understand the instructions, that’s why my sewing teacher had to translate them to me :-)…
Finished it last night and wore it already today – I look tired (after a long hot day in an office without aircon) – but it’s about the top not about me ;-).
Try out menswear inspired wardrobe staples, like unconventional jackets and high waisted pants.
