My first project on BurdaStyle and also my entry in the Apron Remake Challenge!
(Loosely) Based on the Two Tone Apron pattern from Sewing Republic, I kept to the original with one right pocket, gathered waist, front bow, and three-panel style of construction while making it my own with a number of changes.
The pocket was changed to an appliqued apple pocket with contrasting topstitching and ruffles were added to embellish the middle panel. I also gathered the entire apron instead of only the middle panel to give it more volume. Like the original, the bow can be tied in the front, but is also cute when tied in the back, with the ties unfolded.
