Burda Style For people who sew
Description
last time I used this pattern, I got the motif all muddled up and it all came out upside down. This time I tried to be really careful but just at the end while cutting off threads after sewing on the buttons I slipped and cut a hole in the edge :-(((((((
Looks like I have to make this blouse again and hopefully I will be 3rd time lucky :-))

It’s pretty. I don’t see a hole. After a similar incident, I discovered that a row of double crochet in a matching thread or embroidery floss makes a pretty edge, closes the hole and doesn’t detract from the look of the garment. It takes a while to do and you need a very tiny steel crochet hook, but it looks like you meant it to be there instead of like you repaired a mistake ;-)

Here we have a saying, “drie maal scheepsrecht” it means as much as third time is best! So I hope you are lucky with your third blouse. Anyway, I think unless your slip out with the siccors, the blouse looks realy good!
