      It is actually pretty basic if you have a dress form…

      1. drape the top how you see fit, I personally like doing diagonal pleats with gathers in between. After that cut the lining to the shape you want your top to be as fitted as possible (i recommend a darted princess bodice) lay the lining wrong side up on top of the form- pin and chalk… take both garments off and sew the top with a walking foot…. after that finish the bottom wrong side out and flip through the sides… then french seam the sides and surge
