After making two of these as Christmas gifts for a friend and my sister-in-law, I finally was able to make one for me!
I must say though, that even though this bag is seriously easy to make, I think I am done making them for a while! Sewing through all that leather plus the heavy cotton, I thought I broke my machine and had to take the bobbin casing apart twice (in a row!) to remove broken needles. Anyway, I am glad I kept on going and finished it, as I really wanted one of these for the longest time!
Heavy Cotton outer, light cotton lining, leather bottom/tassles, plastic for bottom support.

Great fabric, and yes very easy to make but it can test your machine ( I had similar probs ). Don’t stop now, good job.
