Description
I made this shirt from the same cotton I used for the pleated shirt, but made a very different pattern. This one has a fitted underbust piece, made out of 4 seperate panels, with the chest pieces put on with gathers (especially at the bust). Hook and eye closure, puffed sleeves gathered in pleats halfway down (I stole that idea from BWOF november (?) but made my own version). I just saw that I didn’t button the cuffs before taking the pictures, but those are functional cuffs. The skirt is a simple A-line with a blind zipper at the side. I loved this print, but unfortunatelly it was really rough, scratchy synthetic fabric on the inside, so I lined it.

This shirt is really nice, I love shirts with fitted under bust. I like the idea of using hook and eye closure, it makes this shirt different.

Very Nice! Looks very classy. I agree with Kathsavery and want this pattern. It amazes me when someone can make their own pattern just from seeing a finished garment.
