I fell in love with this Eva Franco creation – the Lemon Amour Dress.
So I set about copy-catting it for my birthday this year! I used the bodice from McCalls 5937 (a Laura Ashley pattern) and drafted a full circle skirt in place of the pencil skirt in the pattern which I had pleated with a sunray pleat.
More pictures and details (especially regarding the pleating process!!) here:
Made and self-lined from a blush coloured polyester (because it’s perfect for pleating) and a handmade embroidered lace from France as the overlay.
Take off with pleats, cut-outs, insets, and futuristic prints.
