A friend ‘asked’ me to make some dresses for her dance group. I am now in the throes of making 20 dresses for various size and ages to use in a number from Annie.
Brown! Uggh! It used to be my school uniform colour and I really don’t like it. I have added some lovely bright patches in lycra – the girls chose their own colours to personalise the dresses a bit.
A Lycra jersey type fabric , lovely and shiny for dance effect but as slippery as an eel to sew.
